Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Forever popular cereal premiums include a whopping 13 Hall-of-Famers and were found, you guessed it, one-a-box in Post cereal products during the 1968-69 season. Group of Canadiens include Beliveau, Cournoyer, Richard, Savard and Worsley and are fairly clean and problem-free, with the Ferguson off-center, while the Maple Leafs marbles also remain in pleasing condition with light expected wear, with some crazing to the surface of the Pelyk marble, with Horton, Ullman, Bower, Keon and Pronovost featured. The somewhat scarce game board (roughly 15” x 24”) was also enjoyed by a former owner, with some yellow staining in spots, along with light wear to some identifiers. The original shipping box is included, while the original 8 ½” x 11” instruction sheet is in poor condition, with toning, creasing, and edge tears, with tape also present. Each corner also has a small loss of material.
