Forever-in-demand card #35 of Topps' 1966-67 issue pictures 18-year old Bobby Orr and is an absolute prerequisite to an important cardboard collection. Part of the write-up on the back reads "...certainly will become one of the future stars in the NHL. A rushing defenseman who can set up goals as well as score them." Bobby indeed went on to forge his legacy as arguably the greatest player ever to lace on a pair of skates, rendering his rookie cards coveted, coveted. This example rests in a new PSA holder and received a mark of VG 3. With 65/35 side-to-side centering, the card exhibits wear at the corners and we spot a light peripheral half-inch vertical crease, descending from the top edge, less than an inch from the right corner. A clean surface is a notable attribute. Bobby’s incredible attributes led to eight Norris Trophy wins, along with mindboggling accomplishments in both 1969-70 and ‘74-75 as he won the NHL scoring championship – the only d-man to ever lead the league in points.
