Classic collectibles that always pique the interest of those who are enthusiastic about them are 1964-65 Topps cards, with the intriguing details of this complete 110-card assembly of oversized cardboard being as follows. Found mostly in the uniform condition ranges of VG-EX to EX and EX to EX-MT throughout with some cards viewed as being a bit better as well as a bit worse for their efforts in both series', among the included key cards from the first (1st) series are the examples of 6-Sawchuk (EX to EX-MT - black print mark from the factory at the top right and a tiny ding to the bottom left corner), 20-Hull (EX to EX-MT - light fuzz to the bottom left corner and off-center), 31-Mikita (EX-MT to NM - darker red back), 33-Beliveau (VG-EX to EX - very slight corner wear, tiny scratch mark at his right hip and a darker red back), 54-Checklist (EX-MT to NM - unmarked - 60-40 centering) and 55-Checklist (VG-EX to EX - dings to the top left and bottom right corners - unmarked - darker red back). For the rest of the first (1st) series, six (6) cards are seen as being around EX-MT to NM, twenty (20) cards present as EX to EX-MT, thirteen (13) cards are found to be around VG-EX to EX, five (5) cards are in the vicinity of VG to VG-EX and finally five (5) cards are in the scope of G to VG shape while #'s 4, 7, 16, 28 and 38 have darker red reverses.
For the second (2nd) series cards, the key examples include those of 58-Williams (VG-EX to EX - slight colour loss to the right side), 59-Pilote (EX-MT to NM), 68-Plante (EX to EX-MT - 80-20 centering), 72-Dornhoefer (VG-EX to EX - tiny marks at the top right and 80-20 centering), 74-Villemure (VG-EX to EX - light corner wear), 80-Rousseau (EX to EX-MT - slight surface snow and slight wear to the bottom left corner), 85-Mahovlich (VG-EX to EX - off-center), 89-Howe (EX-MT to NM - off-center), 91-Nesterenko (EX to EX-MT - off-center on the reverse), 92-Paille (EX to EX-MT - off-center at bottom border), 94-Keon (EX-MT to NM - 80-20 centering), 98-Hicke (G to VG - scratches at the bottom left), 100-Bucyk (EX to EX-MT - slight corner wear), 102-Horton (VG-EX to EX - top left corner and bottom left border wear), 105-Horton AS (VG to VG-EX - top right corner wear and off-center), 106-Mikita AS (VG to VG-EX - dent at bottom right) and 107-Hull AS (VG to VG-EX - corner wear) while the remaining cards include four (4) in the neighbourhood of EX-MT to NM, twenty-two (22) in the scope of EX to EX-MT condition, nine (9) around VG-EX to EX and finally, three (3) seen as being in the range of VG to VG-EX.
