Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Ultra-fascinating and exciting Parkhurst collection includes a mini (4-1/2”) metal Stanley Cup, while three regulation-size pucks feature facsimile autographs of Howe, Beliveau and Keon. Scarcities have “OFFICIAL” on the side and are joined by a mint condition sharp-edged puck with an orange Gordie Howe stamped signature (actually a Wonder Bread premium). Highlighting a trio of cards is an Alex Faulkner RC (EX), with 2-Don Simmons (EX+) and 82-Henri Richard (VG+) also advertising either the Cup or pucks. Last but definitely not least is an extremely scarce “Shuffle Hockey” game. Wooden affair measures 15-1/2” by 30” and still has the rules sheet pasted on the bottom. Two players use “pushers” to try to propel a 1-1/2” wooden disc/puck into the opposition goal. Produced by Carrom Industries of Ludington, Michigan, the game is near mint and in its original mailing box. Hobbyists should be impressed with this killer collection.
