Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
With the first table top hockey game invented by Donald H. Munro Sr. in Toronto in 1932, Munro Games produced numerous examples throughout the intervening decades, including this attractive “All-Star Hockey” game produced in the 1960s. At approx 16” x 36” and constructed of metal and wood and featuring intact metal goals, the score for each team is kept at either end of center, with none of the original players or the game puck remaining. The graphics on each side display well, with moderate wear to the playing surface. The instructions are affixed to the underside, with the cardboard backing loose at one end. This example is ideal for a vintage wall display.
