Featuring a number of leagues including the WHL, EHL, NAHL and others, we have a vintage puck collection originating from the 1960s/70s and totaling 24, with each hailing from inaugural-season Minnesota North Star and later WHA/WHL standout Ted McCaskill, who also spent time in the NOHA, EHL, CPHL, CHL and NAHL. Included, we have 9 1969-74 WHL Art Ross Converse pucks with rubberized team logos and screened reverses (Salt Lake-2, Denver-2, Portland-2, Phoenix-2 and Seattle), a 1965-69 WHL San Diego Gulls CCM puck, a 1968-69 WHL Art Ross Converse San Diego Gulls puck with rubberized logo, a 1971-74 WHL Jack-in-the-Box Seattle Totems puck, a 1967-73 EHL Charlotte Checkers puck with CCM reverse, a 1974-75 NAHL Philadelphia Firebirds puck, a 1970s NAHL Maine Nordiques - Czech back puck, a 1980-83 Oklahoma City Stars puck, 1977-79 PHL Phoenix Roadrunners (unknown if game or souvenir puck) and 7 circa mid-1970s NAHL pucks with gold lettering (Broome Dusters-3 and Mohawk Valley Comets-4, unknown if game or souvenir pucks).
The majority of the 1969-74 WHL Art Ross Converse pucks with rubberized team logos and screened reverses show heavier wear including darkening/staining to the logos and the odd gouge or chip, with lighter wear to the remaining group, with most of the mid-1970s NAHL pucks with gold lettering showing very light wear. The 1967-73 EHL Charlotte Checkers puck with CCM reverse also sports a few edge chips.
