Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
The distinctive identities of each of the “Original Six” teams are represented in this collection of 1958-62 Art Ross NHL official game pucks. These are the first NHL team logo pucks, each one with the Official Art Ross National Hockey League Puck rubberized orange octagon on one side and its respective team crest on another rubberized orange octagon on the other side, representing the Red Wings, Canadiens, Bruins, Rangers, Black Hawks and Maple Leafs, respectively. The Rangers puck has a vintage signature of HOF defenseman Harry Howell across its face, which has a raised circular portion in the middle of the team crest.
The Rangers puck has a small chip missing from the edge of the NHL reverse.
