Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
Glenn Hall, known as “Mr. Goalie,” is widely regarded as one of the most influential goaltenders
in hockey history. A pioneer of the butterfly style, Hall’s consistency and durability were
unmatched—he famously played 502 consecutive games without a mask, a record that remains
untouchable. Hall’s career included two Vezina Trophies and a Conn Smythe Trophy, and he
backstopped the Chicago Blackhawks to a Stanley Cup championship in 1961. His 407 career
wins and calm presence in net earned him a spot in the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1975.
Offered here is a 1957-58 Topps Glenn Hall rookie card, graded PSA 8. This pop-57 card is only
bettered by 12 others on the PSA population report out of the 439 submitted to PSA over the
years, making it a highly desirable piece of hockey history. It is housed in a good condition PSA
holder that shows some scratches and scuffs over both sides.
