Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018

The Parkhurst parade continues here with the company's ever-challenging 1957-58 issue, with this inviting assembly dominated by pleasing crease-free cards which look to average EX. The important Frank Mahovlich rookie is EX with staining due to wax removal in the lower left quadrant, while the Henri Richard RC is not quite as nice at VG-EX. Most notable among other Canadiens are 3-Beliveau and 15-Plante, both EX, with 1-Harvey close at VG-EX+. Creased and VG are 2-Geoffrion and 5-Maurice Richard. Among Maple Leafs, paper loss on the upper front affects 1-Armstrong (otherwise EX), with 2-Chadwick RC (VG-EX), 3-Duff and 4-Pulford RC (both EX) and 5-Sloan (VG-EX+ appearance but with light back damage) comprising the first five and 20-Baun RC (EX-MT) and 22-Horton (EX+) highlighting the others, most of which are EX or EX+. Most of the remaining Canadiens are similar, with 17-Hodge RC just a tad below at VG-EX+. A light crease makes for seven condition exception, (VG, VG+), but they're commons; Montreal #s 8, 10, 13 and 23 and Toronto #s 10, 13 and 23. Overall, rather nice indeed.
