A popular Parkhurst issue is represented here by a group of lower grade cards, some of them decent and others with major flaws. Among the nicer cards is a crease-free #43-Geoffrion with VG-EX characteristics but with color loss in the red strip at the bottom. Then-current Canadiens in G or G+ are Hall of Famers 38-Moore, 42-Olmstead, 46-Bouchard and 67-Blake, while similar are Oldtime Greats 58-Joliat (ST), 59-Hainsworth (ST), 60-Mantha, 61-Leduc and 65-Gagnon, with 66-Reay the overall condition leader at VG-EX+. The first (1-Lumley) and last (79-Maple Leaf Gardens) cards are among notable Toronto entries but are F, with former greats 24-Primeau, 28-Apps and 29-Kennedy better at G and coach King Clancy making it to VG. A VG+ 18-Dick Duff leads the rookie card lineup, with F or G rookies of 9-MacDonald, 13-Cullen 16-Cahan, 20-Harris, 35-Marshall and 36-LeClair also present. Ten other cards are similar, while the remaining 18 cards are mostly P (or F) with back damage or tape stains or multiple creases, writing, paper loss, etc. Noteworthy are 23-Broda, 34-Day and 52-McNeil. Some cheap entertainment awaits the high bidder here.
