Always popular and talked about highly among those collectors that chase vintage offerings, Parkhurst’s inaugural hockey release from the 1951-52 season is up for grabs here in near-complete form with 101 of the 105 cards that make up the checklist being included. Featuring both options and rookie cards galore, the assembly offered here is missing the key offerings of 4-Maurice Richard RC, 61-Terry Sawchuk RC, 66-Gordie Howe RC and 68-Marcel Pronovost RC to be considered complete and ALL the cards were at one time pasted into a scrapbook many moons ago by a youngster and then professionally removed. Additionally, it should be noted that the grades listed for the cards below are done so without taking into consideration the fact that they were all removed from a scrapbook. In our opinions, the backs of the cards mostly all look nice and clean with no clear evidence exposing the fact that they were in a scrapbook previously. A grouping of mixed grade offerings ranging from the vicinity of FR to G up to VG-EX to EX for their efforts, the notable cards include the likes of 1-Lach (PR to F - multiple creases and pencil mark on reverse), 3-Bouchard RC (VG to VG-EX - light corner wear), 7-Johnson RC (VG-EX to EX - slight corner wear), 10-Harvey RC(VG-EX to EX - small light blue print line), 14-Geoffrion RC (G to VG - light crease and red coloured mark on reverse), 15-McNeil RC (VG-EX to EX - slight corner wear), 19-Henry RC (G to VG - light creases and slight discolouration on the reverse), 26-Quackenbush RC (FR to G - large crease), 29-Schmidt RC (VG-EX to EX - tiny crease at top right corner), 37-Gadsby RC (PR - large but light crease and ink on the reverse), 47-Lumley RC (FR to G - crease and corner wear), 48-Bentley RC (FR to G - crease and corner wear), 49-Mosienko RC (G to VG - light crease), 52-Winning Goal (VG to VG-EX - corner wear), 53-Kelly RC (G to VG - crease that shows on the reverse), 56-Lindsay RC (GOOD - multiple light creases), 64-Abel (VG to VG-EX - tiny crease at top left corner), 70-Watson RC (GOOD - light creases), 75-Broda (GOOD - very light crease at bottom right corner), 80-Flaman RC (EX to EX-MT), 86-Kennedy RC (GOOD - light creases), 94-Stanley RC (VG-EX to EX - slight corner wear), 96-Laprade RC (GOOD - light creases) and 104-Rayner RC (GOOD - crease).
