Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Vintage rubber is offered, with a pair of pucks both associated with netminders, with a 1950-58 NHL Art Ross example with Jacques Plante affixed paper caption, along with a 1942-50 NHL Art Ross puck with affixed tape with handwritten notation, with the puck originating from one of Charlie Hodge’s career shutouts. The Plante puck features intact rubberized logos and just light wear to the puck itself, with a “Jacques Plante” label affixed to the side, along with a second small partial paper caption over one of the logos with typed text, with Plante’s name along with “ntreal Canadians” (sic). The Hodge puck has a few blemishes and wear to the Art Ross rubberized logo, with thin tape added to the reverse, with the handwritten text including “at Milwaukee” and "Dec. 29th 6-0" hard to decipher. A signed LOA from Mr Hodge will accompany his shutout puck.
