Hockey legends Aurele Joliat, Toe Blake and Babe Siebert are among the former teammates of Howie Morenz who signed this prized game program from the benefit game played in honor of the fallen Montreal Canadiens great at the Montreal Forum on November 2, 1937. Blake signed twice, both on the front and back covers of this rare and highly-sought Morenz benefit game program which is covered with pencil signatures from Howie's former teammates. Joliat signed above "Morenz Memorial" on the front cover which is also signed by Cecil Hart, Pit Lepine and Paul Haynes, among others. Former linemate Johnny Gagnon signed atop the photo on the back cover of Morenz and his son, Howie Jr. Siebert's signature appears in the upper right and a member of the Morenz family signed below Armand Mondou in the upper left corner. In addition to Blake, Lepine also signed the twice while other Other Habs who signed the back cover include Lorrain, Brown, Cude, Mantha, Buswell, Goupille and MacKenzie. A few pages in the middle of the program have come loose from their staples, the program has a vertical crease where it was folded in the middle and exhibits numerous small fold marks on the covers which does not diminish this rare treasure's appeal.
